Iris Built, already fully licensed with the QBCC, have assembled an experienced and dedicated Tier 1 construction team with extensive major project experience to focus fully on the delivery of Victoria & Albert, Broadbeach.
The Iris Built team will continue to work closely with Eastview Australia, an experienced project management business that has been delivering major high-rise developments on the Gold Coast for over 20 years.
With over 40 years industry experience, Graham is one of the most dedicated and hands-on leaders in the building industry. Graham began his career in Canada. He returned to Sydney as a Project Manager for Condux, later joining the Baulderstone Group and Baulderstone Hornibrook, where he was the State Director. Graham has managed or constructed some of the major projects in Southeast QLD including projects such as the Wave Building, Oceania on Broadbeach, Carmel by the Sea, Verve, Vogue and Sierra Grand in Broadbeach along with projects in Burleigh Element and Ivory. Graham managed numerous significant projects in Sydney including Birkenhead Quays, 2 Bond Street Apartment Hotel, and the major refurbishment of the Regent Hotel (now known as the Four Seasons) for the 2000 Sydney Olympics.
SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER
A Confident, accomplished and highly adaptable FSc, MCIOB-qualified Project Manager, Simon has extensive experience as a senior Project Manager with far reaching and varied knowledge across a broad range of client and employer sectors including health, commercial, industrial, retail, residential and Government projects.
CONSTRUCTION SUPPORT MANAGER
Nathan has extensive experience in the building industry, both on site and in Project Management. His ability to see the big picture as well as the detail of the job ensures Nathan is highly regarded and respected within the industry. Nathan has been in the building industry for over 24 years, Initially starting out at Engineering Firm Robert Bird Group in 1998 before moving to Baulderstone Hornibrook in 2003 and working for the CIMIC group of Builders for 13 years. Nathan has experience in High Rise Residential, Hotel, Commercial towers, Shopping Centres, University Buildings and overseas experience in Wynn Palace Casino in Macau.
PROJECT PLANNING & DELIVERY CONSULTANT
Chris is a highly experienced construction Project Manager with over 35 years’ experience in tier 1 construction. Over recent years he has project managed iconic Brisbane high-rise buildings including King George Central, Brisbane Square and the Metro 21 Apartments, as well as being a senior member of the team responsible for completing Wynn Palace’s 5 Star 1700 room hotel tower in Macau. Chris gained experience in rail station and associated construction on the initial underground project in Bangkok, Regional Rail Link in Melbourne, and the Cross River Rail Project in Brisbane. He has also been Project Manager for some of South East Asia’s most notable high-rise complexes including the Exchange Tower in central Bangkok and the Securities Commission HQ in Kuala Lumpur. Chris has successfully built strong, cohesive teams on major projects, and effectively identifies and facilitates solutions on complex jobs.
Mick has more than 25 years of experience in the Construction Industry across a range of residential, commercial, industrial, oil and gas, rail and health projects. Mick’s skills and responsibilities cover all aspects of the building process – from planning and programming, through to co-ordination of trades and materials, onsite safety and first aid. A driven work ethic combined with the ability to interact successfully with subcontractors and stakeholders has seen Mick complete projects on time and within budget.
Brent is a Senor Contracts Administrator with over 23 years’ experience across a range of building and infrastructure projects including commercial, residential and rail.. Brent’s experience working with project stakeholders, subcontractors and suppliers coupled with his skills developed in strategic planning, compliance management and contact management has enabled the successful management and delivery of medium and large scale projects.
Maurice has the best part of a 40-year history as a Professional Career Architect , with half this time in the capacity of Managing Director of TVS ARCHITECTS. The firm had its origins dating back from 1947 and operated in both Australia and the South Pacific and Asian regions, specializing in medium to high density residential, hotels, master planned communities, commercial office towers, education and aged care facilities, to name just a few. Maurice is totally committed to delivering quality services and performances with efficiency and reliability and has worked with a diversified client base over these years, with Developer Client’s in the majority.
With over 20 years’ experience in the Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) sector, Micheal has worked in the oil and gas industry for major organisations like ExxonMobil and Chevron before venturing into the Engineering, Manufacturing and Technology space and finally into the Construction Industry for Tier One companies. With the experience Micheal has gained comes the skill set needed to build and improve the safety performance and culture within an organisation, develop and lead processes for monitoring, measuring and evaluating the Safety Management System.
Paul is a driven and enthusiastic Project Engineer who is well versed in organising and working in team environments. He excels in communication skills and has a strong sense of client focus, ensuring each project is delivered on budget and in a timely manner.
Paul commenced his professional career at GHD Australia, working in the Brisbane Mining team, after completing his dual degree in Engineering (Civil) and Commerce (Accounting) at the University of Queensland.
Paul has gained valuable cost, schedule, project reporting and administration skills during his career. Acting as the main interface between key stakeholders, contractors, and different project teams, Paul's skills will enable Iris Built to provide a high quality and informed service to our clients.
With over 25 years of experience in all aspects of administration, Lesley brings her construction experience to iris Built to ensure the smooth running of the company. Highly organized and detail oriented, Lesley’s proven track record of efficiently managing day to day operations and commitment to staff support allows the Project Team to focus on the delivery of the V&A Project.
